2020 has been a hectic year in many ways, but we've seen some great Bionicle creations pop up, despite the theme being long since retired. From Bio Cup to the Canon Contests, there's been some great MOCs out there, and now we're looking to share a few more. And so we're going to try something a little different this month; instead of featuring images from a LEGO Advent calendar, we're instead going to feature Bionicle MOCs from this year. I spent some time browsing through the BZPower Flickr page and handpicked some of my favorite builds, and I'll be posting one a day for 24 days straight!

Day 03 - Krekka by Sarchasmus

One of my problems with the original Bionicle movies were how much leeway they gave between the design of the character and the sets they were based off. Krekka wasn't exactly the worst example, but Sarchasmus made some changes to make the MOC look more like his movie counterpart. The System wedges along the body give it a good flow and the head (with the one bad eye) is nicely built out. But it's the overly large hands that really sell it as Movie Krekka. A pretty sleek design.
