Official Description
In the darkest moments of the struggle against the Bohrok, an Onu-Koro Matoran named Nuparu made an astounding discovery. The Bohrok, he learned, are not living creatures -- instead, they are biomechanical creations designed to transport the krana. Using this knowledge, and parts from a downed Bohrok, Nuparu constructed the Boxor vehicle. This rugged transport gives the Matoran added power against the Bohrok Va, and a large number of Boxors can even defend successfully against a squad of Bohrok.
Storyline
Matoran villagers traditionally only used disks as weapons, which often knocked Rahi masks off but did little other damage. A heavier weapon was needed. The Onu-Koronan engineer Nuparu, previously unknown in the storyline, encounters Lewa and Onua in the forest and explains about the Bohrok being mechanical creatures, and how pieces can be fitted together into a defensive vehicle.
Comments
The orange Pakari is only available with the Boxor set. This is also the only Matoran set widely available: most of the rest of the others were given away in a McDonald’s promotion and are no longer available, and Hafu (included with the Power Pack) has always been rather difficult to find.
