Discuss This Story ReviewSunday, April 18th, 2021 at 2:51pm by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

Today we've got another video review of a set from next year's Minions: The Rise of Gru. 75547 Minion Pilot Training is releasing on April 26th for $30, and much like the Minions in Gru's Lab set we recently reviewed, it's for young kids through and through. Unlike that set, it costs $10 more, so for $30 it's harder to justify it as just a way to get some Minions figures for your collection. The plane itself is quite swooshable and has a decent interior, but the juniorized fuselage and lackluster tail definitely take away from the build and overall model. Kids will no-doubt enjoy it, but adults and more experienced builders can take a pass. If you'd like to learn more, watch the full review and if you'd like to see the set come together, you can watch the time-lapse build on the BZPower YouTube channel.
