    Brushing Up With Bionicle
ReviewFriday, December 26th, 2003 at 1:59am by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

They have been for sale in the USA for awhile, but the Bionicle toothbrushes are finally on sale in Australia.

The toothbrushes that have been selling well in the states since the MoL movie are now also selling like crazy down under. I had the chance to check one out and have some observations about it.

First, what they look like. They're designed pretty much like any other eletric toothbrush, large bottom to hold batteries, small tome for twisting brush head, you get the idea. The toothbrushes are duked out in the colors of their corresponding Toa Nuva. In Tahu's case; red, orange and a silver grey meant to represent his armor. They also offer a small silhouette of the Toa the brush is made to correspond with.

So you brush your teeth with them. What about the mask they come with? This is the fairly interesting part. The mask is the same as any other Bionicle mask. Same design, same plastic, same size, everything. How does it fit on the brush? There is a special transparent attachment that "clips" onto the brush, over the brush part. This transparent part is not only shaped to give the mask colored eyes, but it also comes in the color of that Toa's eyes. Even better, is it is compatable with any of your other masks. So if you feel like a change, your Tahu Nuva toothbrush could wear a Red Pakari Nuva instead of his signature Hau.
