Over the next few days I will release three sets of answers, starting today with the first 25. Just an editor's note: Not all questions asked in the question topic were answered or were even asked of Greg. Many of them were repeats of previously asked questions or were obviously unanswerable. Here's the first batch. Enjoy! 1) If the Toa did exchange their originial Kanohi for Gold and Silver Kanohi, where did the original ones go? It's my belief that when the Toa received their golden masks, the old Kanohi ceased to exist. Their powers were all incorporated into the gold masks, so the Toa no longer needed them. That is not official, just my theory. 2) Are there plans for the release of more Matoran? Yes, there are plans for Matoran releases next year. I do not know for certain how many or who. 3) Will there be any more toa? Possibly, but not for a while yet. 4) Will the toa ever go back to their original form? No, there are no plans for the Toa Nuva to revert back to the Toa. 5) When the toa nuva came out of the hole in comic 8, where were they? If I am understanding this question correctly, they were back in the tunnels leading out of the Bohrok nest back to the surface. 6) Who created the Exo-Toa suits? Cannot be revealed yet. 7) Where did the Bohrok nest came from? Cannot be revealed yet. 8) Where did toa came from before they arrived on Mata Nui? Cannot be revealed yet. 9) Will the new enemies work in swarms as the bohrok or apart as the Rahi? Both sets of new foes next year will be capable of working together or apart, and will do so at different times. 10) When the new enemy's will come out in the stores? I believe the next group of figures is slated for release in March. 11) When you first were hired by lego, did you have faith that bionicle would be a money-maker? Yes, when I first read the BIONICLE story bible, I thought it had great potential. A lot of really talented people put it together before I came to work for the LEGO Company, and those same people are still the major creative force behind it. 12)Can you tell us if lego is going to sell matorans next year? Because they would satisfy consumers and make lots of money. See answer to #2. 13) In the Bionicle: the Mask of Light teaser thingy, it shows the Mask of light and the fact that there can only really be one toa to wear it, and in earlier news there were supposed to be three Tohunga that were supposed to unlock its power. will the three Tohunga merge into one being and wear the mask, Takua being one of them, or will it just be Takua and the other two get cut out of the script? I can't reveal details about the plot of the movie. 14) Will the next line of comics be parallel to the Movie? or will they be a slightly different storyline? The comic story in the second half of 2003 will be set during the events of the movie, but probably will not duplicate the movie. It will be the stuff going on you did not see in the film. 15) If anyone using the Kakama Nuva gets stuck in something(like a wall), will it kill them? Or can they get out? Kakama Nuva allows you to pass through solid objects by controlling your internal vibration. Even if you were knocked unconscious, the Mask of Power would keep you vibrating so you would be safe from harm. However, it would be very unwise to attempt to pass through a living creature this way - could be harmful to both the creature and the mask wearer. 16) Using the Kakama Nuva, could a Toa just, say, fall through a floor...or a Bahrag's mouth? See above. 17) What personally, is your favorite Bionicle set ever made? Probably the Exo-Toa. 18) I raked, hoed, mowed, and re-did my families 3 acre lot so I could get a GameCube for X-mas last year because I heard there was going to be a Bionicle game for the GC. Are there any plans to get another game up and running...aside from the Game Boy Advance? There are plans for a BIONICLE game later this year, and one for next fall to coincide with the movie. I do not know for certain what all the platforms are, but will try to find out. I do know that the fall of '03 game allows you, for the first time, to play the Toa Nuva. 19) Are there plans to release the Bionicle comics in graphic novels?? I would love to see the BIONICLE comics as a graphic novel. I believe there has been some discussion of it, but I do not know when or if it will happen. 20) Without revealing too much...about how many sets can we look forward to in the coming year?? I can't really answer this question, because my understanding is that the product plan for next year (especially the second half of the year) is not finalized yet. 21) Will there be Nuva versions of the noble masks? No, there are no plans for Nuva versions of the Noble Masks. 22) Will takua become a toa? See answer to #13. 23) If the Kanohi Nuva share their power with those around the wearer, does that mean that Rahi or the new enemies are aided as well? This is a good question. It's my belief that the masks are sufficiently attuned to their wearer that they would not allow their power to benefit an opponent. Again, my theory, not official doctrine. 24) What is the pupose of the golden mask in the sundial? I need more information - which mask in which sundial? (Editor�s note: Whoever asked this question can PM Greg to specify) 25) Where do tohunga come from? This question strikes at the background of a lot of the story - so even if I had an official answer, I could not give it :-) There you have it. More answers coming as the week progresses.
