    1. Can you tell us the powers of the Krana Kal?

    Krana Za Kal
This krana has the ability to communicate telepathically with the other krana kal. They also have the limited ability to read other minds and to sense strong emotions in the immediate area.

    Krana Bo Kal
This krana has the ability to see in the dark as well as the ability to see through most substances. The floors and walls of the Mata Nui underground block this x-ray vision.

    Krana Ja Kal
This krana has a radar sense that enables them to detect distance obstacles. In addition, it also magnifies all of the other senses of the Bohrok, particularly hearing and smell.

    Krana Ca Kal
This krana is linked to the minds of the Bahrag and can sense their presence, but its range is very limited.

    Krana Su Kal
This krana gifts the Bohrok Kal with tremendous strength and endurance, including limited resistance to heat and cold.

    Krana Yo Kal
This krana can sense stress points in the earth, allowing it to tunnel through areas of least resistance. It can also sense any underground movement.

    Krana Vu Kal
This krana can use a Bohrok to move across the surface or through the air at great speed.

    Krana Xa Kal
The most important of the krana kal. To accomplish their mission, the Bohrok Kal must bring a krana xa kal into actual physical contact with one of the Bahrag.

    2. In the last batch of questions posted on the news section of BZP,you said that the Nuva's cube is like a lock on the Bahrag's prison. Does this mean that the Kal are trying to free the Bahrag by stealing the cube parts, or are they wanting to control the Bahrag's prison by themselves?

It's very possible that their goal is to free the Bahrag, since that would allow the swarms to finish their work.

    3. In the future storyline, will Mata-Nui actually awake?

I don't know. I have only seen the storyline through 2004, early 2005, so it may happen later than that.

    4. If the Golden Kanohi were traded in for the Kanohi Nuva, why do the Kanohi Nuva only have one power?

Each individual Kanohi Nuva has more power than an individual Kanohi does.. and even with only one power, you can see that the power has sort of gone to the Toa Nuva's heads. Imagine if they had golden Kanohi Nuva and all that power right from the start! As always, things happen on Mata Nui as they are destined to.

    5. In the video of the "New Invention Saves Onu-Koro" update on Bionicle.com it says that when a Bohrok looses it's Krana it can't move, but in the first Bohrok comics Vakama says that if a Bohrok looses its Krana it can be humbled, can you clear this up?

In some cases, Bohrok who lose their krana aren't moving, but that's usually because they have been stunned (making it easier to get their krana out of them). Bohrok with their krana removed do not freeze up and shut down... they basically become like cars still in drive with no drivers. They wander aimlessly until someone comes along who can essentially reprogram them and give them direction again.

    6. Do you have any information about the MNOLG II(2nd Mata-Nui online game), and if so, do you know what it will entail?

I did speak to the people designing it, and I do know that Hahli is one of the main characters in it. Beyond that, I don't have enough concrete information on it yet to share much.

    7. In regard to the Miru Nuva, in Comic #8, it says how it can help the user soar up into the air and reach amazing heights, but then earlier, when all the Toa are flying, they use both the Kakama Nuva and the Miru Nuva to get off the ground and fly. Can the Miru Nuva be used to get off the ground AND soar through the air, or is another mask needed?

The Miru Nuva can be used to help you soar through the air, but getting up off the ground from a standing start required the help of the Mask of Speed.

    8. How can the Toa Nuva regain their powers after losing them? Do they need to recapture their symbol?

    Yes.

    9. Are the Tohunga kids i mean like 5-18 in years or all ages? if so where are all the Tohunga parents?

Well, they are certainly less mature than Toa or Turaga, but we don't know what Matoran lifespans are. As for your other question, you are assuming that Matoran are produced biologically, and I am not sure that is true.

    10. Why do the toa nuva lose their powers when the bohrok kal take the nuva cube?

Well, the simple answer is that their powers are tied into/housed in the cube in some way. But I also think a part of the answer is that the Matoran believe in the icons as being symbols of power.. and that their belief may have something to do with the Toa Nuva icons connection.

    11. Will there be desktop Nuva,Kal,and Rahkshi?

It wouldn't surprise me, but I do not know for sure.

    12. Is the Game Cube Bionicle game really called Bionicle:Matoran Adventures?

    Yes, it is.

    13. What does the mask of victory do and why havent we seen it in the storyline?

The Mask of Victory is purely symbolic. It has no power, it is just a sign that you are a champion in some event or another.

    14. How come nuju talked in comic number one but in the online mata-nui game he needs matoro to translate for him?

Nuju never spoke in issue #1. There is a scene where you only see his hands and there is a dialogue balloon, but that balloon is pointing toward Matoro, not Nuju. Matoro is the one speaking.

    15. What Toa Nuva is most like you or relates to you the most?

That's a hard question. I don't know that any of them are really like me - I didn't create the characters, so none of them really reflect my personality. My favorite is probably Kopaka Nuva, because he is such a complex character.

    16. Will you get a chance to preview the Mask of Light movie before it comes out?

    I certainly hope so.

    17. When will battle for Mata-Nui be online?

Last I heard was February, I think.

    18. Will the Protodermis play a role now or in the future?

    Yes, definitely.

    19. Are the patterns on the Bohrok-Kal's headshields going to play an important role in the stoyline (such as the toa nuva symbols did)

    No, I don't think so.

    20. do any of the toa die?

    Not yet.

    21. How were the Bohrok-Kal created? (the same way as the Bohrok?)

Actually, no ... the Bohrok-Kal are existing Bohrok who were subjected to various processes that mutated them and made them more powerful than standard Bohrok.

    22. How many comics will there be for the Kal saga? for example, makuta
    had 3, bohrok had 6.

The Bohrok-Kal storyline basically started in November, and runs
    through January, March and May.

    23. What is the Bohrok kal's main goal or objective?

    To free the Bahrag.

    24. Has the Kini-nui another major role coming?

    Yes, I believe so.

    25. How long do you see the Bionicle biz to keep going?

Well, let me put it this way. The BIONICLE storyline is divided into "books" by the heads of the story team. The books are different lengths, and I believe that at end of this year we will only have completed one. There are at least 7 books that I know of in existence, possibly more. So as long as there is an audience for it, we have stories to tell.
